Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), including cell and gene therapies, are transforming the therapeutic landscape, but present significant clinical, economic, and policy challenges once they reach the market. This research topic invites original research, reviews, policy and practice analyses, and health economic evaluations examining the real-world value, affordability, durability, and patient access to ATMPs following market access. Contributions addressing challenges in low- and middle-income countries and African healthcare systems are particularly welcome.

- Real-world clinical effectiveness and economic evaluation of ATMPs post-market access
- Post-market reassessment of cost-effectiveness, pricing, and managed entry agreements
- Patient-reported outcomes, quality of life, and utility measurement
